Welcome to the Dyke Village Hall website!

The hall started life as a church for the army at Belton Park, Grantham, and was called St. George's Mission Hall. It was moved, in sections, to its present site by Mr R. K. Wadsley and erected under the supervision of Mr J. Walpole. It was re-consecrated by the Bishop of Lincoln, and continued to be used for services until the early 1980's, when the Village Hall Management Committee came into being.

The clock in the hall was donated by the families of, and in memory of Don Clark and Joe Bonnett, and the seat outside was purchased by the family in memory of Mrs Pat Broxholme, who was a stalwart member of the committee from its inception until the time of her death in 2007.

Today, the village hall is regularly used by Dyke Women's Institute, Harmony Yoga Club and Bourne Dog Training Club as well as for violin concerts. The hall is available to hire for private parties at a cost of just £10 per hour, and enquiries are welcomed from the menu on the left.
